Randy Herion is Co-founder and President of Herion Company.  He is responsible for the managing the financial aspects of the operations, business development, and monitoring operations in progress.   Randy works with our key management personnel to ensure integrity of the business, to achieve strategic business objectives, and to monitor progress of continuing operations.

Prior to founding Herion Company, Randy worked in the electricity and natural gas sectors of the energy industry, for Associated Electric Cooperative.  His duties there were making short to intermediate-term energy transactions, evaluating long-term transactions, administering power plant contracts, working with government agencies on optimizing hydroelectric facilities, and resource planning for intermediate to long-term needs.  He also spent time with Union Pacific Railroad managing construction projects around the midwest and the south.

Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Missouri – Rolla and has completed coursework in preparation for his M.B.A..  He is a member of many professional organizations, and is active in these organizations.  In addition to these commitments, Randy enjoys being active in the community in various capacities, his family, and numerous recreational activities, such as golf, reading, scuba diving, and skiing.  Although he complains there isn’t near enough time allotted for the recreational activities.
